Inspiration
Online shoppers often struggle to decide what to buy and where to buy it. Reviews are scattered and often biased. We wanted to build a tool that brings transparency to product research — one that analyzes reviews, evaluates credibility, compares real-time prices, and summarizes insights instantly. That’s how Unboxd was born — a Smart Product Evaluator for smarter purchases.
What it does
Unboxd helps users make data-driven purchase decisions through AI-powered review analysis, real-time price comparison, and credibility scoring. Users can: Search by product name, URL, or YouTube review link Get AI-generated summaries with pros, cons, and Trust Scores Compare prices across major retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy) Access retailer-specific service reviews Listen to voice summaries for accessibility
How we built it
APIs & Integrations: Claude Summarizer, OpenAI GPT Vision, ShoppingPrices API (Google Shopping/SerpAPI), Reddit MCP, YouTube MCP Platform: Creao Build Studio for deployment and iteration Accomplishments we’re proud of Built and deployed a fully functional multi-API integration app in under 48 hours Unified Claude, GPT Vision, and ShoppingPrices APIs for combined insights Created dynamic credibility scoring and accessible voice summaries Designed a clean, intuitive UI
