Inspiration
I got a job that looked good on paper, but in reality it was a completely mismatched culture. A lot of my friends has experienced similar situations. The issue wasn't a lack of job. It was that 90% of them didn't actually fit.
What it does
JobSeeker is a job matching platform that goes beyond CV. Upload CV (30 seconds) - AI extracts your technical profile, experience level, and career trajectory Answer 8 Smart Questions (6 minutes) - Tell us what traditional job applications never ask Get Your Profile (Instant) - AI synthesizes everything into your unique career archetype Discover Perfect Matches - Jobs ranked by true compatibility with transparent explanations.
How we built it
Replit AI.
Challenges we ran into
Evaluation metrics (Job-user fitness metrics). Questionnaires design, how it complements with CV.
Accomplishments we're proud of
We built an MVP.
What we learned
Team work. We discussed and debated our perspectives and find a common ground, which is an elevated and better view. Prompt engineering is an art. File parsing is harder than it looks.
What's next
Complete its functions. Both of us believe it got potentials, no other job matching platform is doing great, there is a room for improvements.
