Inspiration

Our inspiration came from our hope of bringing storytelling to another level. We want the experience to be immersive and surreal by bridging reading and modern AI technology to bring the characters to life.

What it does

Reads books or transcript or any kind of text and identifies character's information based on the data, suggests the option to change the voice of the narrator to make the user's liking. Has a function to change the voice based on the characters.

How we built it

Using Python accompanied by LMNT's Text to Voice AI and Google Gemini NLP

Challenges we ran into

One of the primary challenges we faced was implementing dynamic voice assignments and ensuring the accurate detection of character information. Additionally, creating smooth transitions between various voices and managing large text inputs

Accomplishments we're proud of

We’re proud of successfully developing a functional and intuitive prototype that delivers a dynamic storytelling experience.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned the importance of structuring an engaging user interface and the technicalities involved in working with APIs

What's next

Moving forward, we plan to integrate AI-based text analysis to automatically detect and assign voices based on character identification. We also will use databases for larger input.
