Inspiration
Promoting yourself for a professional opportunity can be intimidating to first time job seekers. We've all had those anxious encounters which we won't forget. We want to make it easier for the next cohort of interviewees.
What it does
The features of your project include : --> Finding communities of like minded people through similar majors, age, and locations. --> Providing live opportunity to practice their elevator pitches --> Get peer review by uploading one's resume
How we built it
Our technology stack is built over 6,000 lines of code with Django, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, SQLLite, Json. We're incorporating sponsored of agora through implementing voice and chat calls.
Challenges we ran into
Unfamiliarity with our sponsors offerings and how to integrate it within our project. Our plans continued to evolve as we've changed it during the second day. We've also had github issues when mixing our code together. We had to adapt to updating depreciated code to a newer version while deciding which features we wanted to showcase. Lastly, we've had to endure mixing our differing languages while melding our various code and features together into a working product.
Accomplishments we're proud of
Despite our issues and experiences, we remain resilient and are finishing this journey together. We're also super excited that we can present a working demo. We're proud to have bonded over this special opportunity and use our time effectively.
What we learned
Through learning each other's different strengths, we found areas we can improve upon. We found a balance between working during the hackathon while also learning from the workshops and from each other. For instance, this was a good opportunity for us to being exposed to different languages, working more with git, the command line and collaborating on a project together. We also got to learn about sponsors products that we can use at a future hackathon and how to approach a project differently next time.
What's next
We want to incorporate AI agents functionality such as improving it's accuracy and allowing for AI review of resume. Additionally, we hope to expand the variety of majors that our users can pick from as well as increase their profile and community preferences. Lastly, we want to add a React framework.

AI coding agents
No AI coding agent signals were found in this repository.
Detected from committed agent config files and commit authorship. Absence of a signal is not proof an agent was unused.

Supporting
Layers are inferred from where files sit in the tree, not from reading the code. A project that names its directories unconventionally will read oddly here — open the file browser to check anything the diagram implies.
