Inspiration
: At Minerva University, we are responsible for our own cooking. A part of the process is managing the expiration date, which is difficult considering that we have school, work-study, and assignments. Therefore, we want an app that can help us track the food expiration date.
What it does
: The application tracks the expiration dates of the food (best by, date by) and sends notifications according to the needs of the users.
How we built it
We came up with a simple user flow and thought of monetization opportunities for the application. We devised a layout application in the MIT Inventor App, and used Canva to craft our branding design and Figma for user interface and user experience.
What's next
We are developing functions where users can scan the dates instead of entering it manually.
