## Devpost submission (written by the team)

### Inspiration

We wanted to develop something that had a genuine impact that could help people today instead of in the future.

### What it does

Uses blockchain technology to convert payment from one party into crypto and be able to send it world wide in a matter of minutes to a receiving party.

### How we built it

It was built utilizing the xqrl platform, and using exchange rate API's to accurately get information.

### Challenges we ran into

The main challenge of this platform was getting to know unfamiliar work environments, such as Supabase and xqr ledger.

### Accomplishments we're proud of

Getting vercel working for myself was a first, and it was nice to have new tools under my belt.

### What we learned

Developing this product helped me realize the true difference between what coursework/theory looks like for students studying these classes, and what the actual utilization/implementation process for people who work in the industry have to do.

### What's next

If possible, there are still a couple small bugs to iron out, and seeing if finishing this as a personal project is viable.
