## Devpost submission (written by the team)

### Inspiration

Wanted to reduce environmental damages by finding a way to reduce AI usage.

### What it does

Classifies queries inputted by the user to chatbot models. Based on the classification, it will either redirect users to a traditional search engine or allow them to continue the chatbot conversation.

### How we built it

Smart Classification: Detects queries that could be easily answered with Google Search Educational Modals: Shows humorous yet informative messages when users could save resources Environmental Impact: Displays real-time statistics on water and energy usage Usage Statistics: Tracks searchable vs. AI-worthy queries Multi-Platform Support: Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot

### Challenges we ran into

Having the AI still run along side the extension, even though the point was to stop AI usage.

### Accomplishments we're proud of

Used front end to make the extension look clean. Came up with an idea to contribute to change and reduce environmental damage.

### What we learned

How to work on front end coding. Learning HTML

### What's next

More training to improve the classification model.
