## Devpost submission (written by the team)

### Inspiration

What do you do first when you leave your home? Start a playlist. Music keeps us moving. However, sometimes you don’t know what songs to listen to. You don’t know what you are feeling. You keep scrolling through Spotify, feeling frustrated by songs that do not match your mood. Brainstorming walks with headphones with bursting music inspired us to create a playlist out of your knowledge to explore new music that matches your mood.

### What it does

Playlist suggestions made with emotional expression analysis, based on your picture input.

### How we built it

We used hume AI to analyze facial expression from webcam, plug into open AI API to generate song suggestions.

### Challenges we ran into

We faced a challenge incorporating Hume AI API using JavaScript. We overcame this challenge by modifying the expected outcome.

### Accomplishments we're proud of

As a team composed of the first hackathon participants, we finalized a product regardless of challenges.

### What we learned

We learned the technology's application in numerous ways, using AI to help our lives for the better. Team cooperation was essential in reaching the final stage, which emphasizes the importance of teamwork.

### What's next

We will integrate expression analysis based on video and voice input. In the future, we would connect to Spotify.
