## Devpost submission (written by the team)

### Inspiration

What inspired me to take on this idea is due to my current status as a cc cs major. To me, cs is developing at a very rapid pace, and so I feel that not only is my curriculum a bit outdated, but also that they may have resources, or opportunities yet aren't able to properly get it out to us students. So, that's why I took upon myself to create this app that students of any major can quickly get an overview of the best classes to take, what they need to transfer, look for scholarships, and skills to develop.

### How we built it

I decided to use the flutter framework along with the dart language for cross platform support. I also have C++, and python for my scholarship agent. This project also uses firebase with firestorm, auth, app check, and gemini ai

### Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge so far is defiantly getting the ai's to work as attended, and have them do what I want them to do.

### Accomplishments we're proud of

Overall, I'm just very proud of the time I have spent, as it was a very eventful and fun day for me.

### What we learned

I learned that everyone is very talented, a great vibe, and to keep on pushing.

### What's next

NorthStar will still continue to be developed, because in all honesty I don't expect to win anything, but I truly could see this app being useful to myself, and countless other, "lost students".
